Japanese Delegation March 10 – 17th, 2017 •The Town & County of Barrhead will be hosting 3 female students (16, 17, & 17 years old) and a female teacher.

• We have one host family and we are looking for one or two more for the students, and one for the teacher. This is a wonderful, opportunity to learn about new cultures and make new friends.

WORK EXPERIENCE SEMESTER TWO• If you are enrolled in work experience second semester,

you should see Ms Wegner ASAP to complete the required paperwork.• There is a $125 performance bond to be paid by

February 17, if all work paperwork is not completed by then. Some paperwork needs to be completed prior to even starting your work experience.

Dual Credit opportunities, the the U of A has adapted their application for admission to incorporate a section pertaining specifically to these students, and ask that all dual applicants use the following interim process:

1. Declare post-secondary studies on your application for admission. Please note doing so will disable the option to self-record high school grades; however, students will otherwise be able to complete and submit the remainder of the application.

2. Submit a contact form at uab.ca/ask either a) self-recording your grades in the manner you would have on the application; or b) uploading a transcript of marks. The contact form must include the student's name and application ID.

Dual Credit ContinuedThe Admissions team will link this information to the student's application for admission for review.

Important: Dual credit students are still processed as high school applicants, and are still eligible for applicable high school entrance awards.
