Have clear divisions in your CV

For example;

• Personal details• Objective• Education• Employment• Interests• References

Proof read for spelling/grammatical mistakes

Double-check your personal details - phone number, address, etc

Match your CV to job specifications

Ensure you have included relevant skills

In your education details, state your most recent qualifications and briefly cover older, less relevant ones

List your work experience in a chronological order - most recent first and then go backwards

Use a professional email address!

Give referees a heads up about receiving a call
