The City of Killeen Capital Improvements Program from 2015 identified the possible extension of Cunningham Rd as a “High Priority” project. The plan would be to extend Cunningham Rd from Central Texas Expressway (U.S. Hwy 190) to Stan Schlueter Loop (F.M. 3470). This would be a 2.09 mile stretch and would go through the subject property. There is no definitive timeframe for this project, but here’s what the City has said about implementation:
High priority projects are recommended for implementation over the lifespan of the CIP (five to ten years). The order in which the high priority projects are implemented will depend on a variety of factors, including project readiness and construction phasing.
