The TrilliumSeries Condenser uses a patented Dry-Coil Adiabatic Design that saveenergy, reduces refrigerant charge, and lowers operating costs. With the use of proprietalogic and sophisticated controls, the On-Demand Adiabatic Pre-Cooler uses water onon the hottest days to maintain condensing temperatures that typical air cooled technolocant achieve.

Modes o Operation
Dry ModeThe ambient air at the dry bulb temperature passes throughthe pads and then over the microchannels. The ambient aircondenses the refrigerant in the microchannel coils which isthen returned to the evaporators.
On-Demand AdiabaticPre-Cooler ModeOn days when the load is high and the ambient airtemperature is high the unit will run in On-DemandAdiabatic Pre-Cooler Mode. Water is evenly sprayed overhighly ef cient cooling pads. As the air passes throughthe pads, water is evaporated in to the air, and the air ishumidi ed, cooling temperatures down to 2-3 F abovewet-bulb temperature. Such substantial depression of the dry
bulb temperature results in a major increase in dry coolingcapacity.
The cooler air passes over the microchannel and condensesthe refrigerant in the microchannel which is then returned tothe compressor. In the sump there is an industrial duty pumpthat recirculates the water. The EcoFlex Controls determinewhen the water is purged from the sump. Part of thedistributed water is evaporated, while the excess water assistsin rinsing the pad to keep it free from debris and minerals thatwould otherwise stay behind on the pad after evaporation.

Rebate Map
Potential rebates are available for decreased energy use. These opportunities are highlightedin blue on the map above. As illustrated, a majority of states offer utility incentives and rebatewhich further decrease the initial investment of the TrilliumSeries Condenser. There are various types o rebates available or energy savings and are dependent on utility regulations.

The above are examples based on in ormation rom dsireusa.org . Dsireusa.org is a website with in ormation on state, local, utility, and ederal incentives and policies that promote renewable energy and energy e ciency. Established in1995 and unded by the U.S. Department o Energy, DSIRE is an ongoing project o the N.C. Solar Center and theInterstate Renewable Energy Council.
For custom rebates, an analysis o the overall system energy savings rom air-cooled to the TrilliumSeries Condensermaybe necessary. This analysis is available rom Baltimore Aircoil Company along with any application support.
