What is coding?

• A special language that is used to write programs for computers.

Programs

• The instructions a computer uses to complete a task. These instructions are written in code.

Hard Drive

• Device used for storing and retrieving digital information using one or more rigid ("hard") rapidly rotating disks coated with magnetic material.

• Data is accessed in a random-access manner, meaning that individual blocks of data can be stored or retrieved in any order and not only sequentially.

RAM

• random access memory, a type of computer memory that can be accessed randomly; that is, any byte of memory can be accessed without touching the preceding bytes. RAM is the most common type of memory found in computers.
