From Fr. Paul…From Fr. Paul…From Fr. Paul…From Fr. Paul…
Dear Friends,
Happy Advent! We are preparing our hearts to welcome the Lord - celebrating His birth in Bethlehem many years ago, and also anticipating His coming again in glory. It's a season for us to remove any obstacles that might prevent us from fully welcoming Jesus in our lives.
Thank you to the many volunteers who made two events in November so successful - the 90th Anniversary Dinner Celebration for St Joseph School, and the Collaborative Parishes’ Christmas Fair. It was so enjoyable to come together with so many, but that was possible only because of those who put in a lot of hard work to make these events successful. Thank you!
And, thank you to all the volunteers who generously give of their time, every week, so that our ministries can serve so many.
"Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel shall come to you, O Israel!"
Fr. Paul

CONFIRMATION RETREAT This past Sunday, November 24, 2019, our parishes hosted the Grade 10 Confirmation Retreat. Please pray for our Confirmandi, that they will be guided by the Holy Spirit as they prepare for their Confirmation next Spring.
And, please join us in giving Net Retreats a “shout out” for a job well done leading our students in prayer, reflection and song during the Confirmation Retreat. The young adults who make up the Net Retreats missionary group are a powerful witness to the grace and love of Christ. We are so grateful for their ministry and example to our students. Following is their note to all of us:
THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING OUR
CHRISTMAS FAIR!CHRISTMAS FAIR!CHRISTMAS FAIR!CHRISTMAS FAIR!
Our first Collaborative Christmas Fair was a success!
We are so grateful for all the hard work of our committee which organized and ran this event. We raised nearly $10,000 in revenue. There were over 30 crafters/vendors, over 100 raffles,
fun games and many wonderful silent auction prizes!
A HUGE “Thank You” to all the parishioners, businesses and friends who so generously gave their time and talent during this event and whose donations of baked goods, food for the kitchen, white elephant items, and raffle prizes made this event such a success.
MAY YOUR CHRISTMAS BE MERRY AND BRIGHT!
