CA State court complaint alleging that Citi Mortgage fraudulently filed and recorded a phony assignment to create the illusion that MERS, as agent for the originator of a mortgage loan, actually transferred the rights to the loan to CITI. In reality, the loan originator is a "Zombie Bank". Sea Breeze Financial Services Inc., was dissolved 9 months before the alleged transfer to CITI. Any agency relationship between MERS and Sea Breeze ended upon the dissolution of that California corporation.
