FALMOUTH
A People Focus
Just Ard
I took a trip to Falmouth, Cornwall,
UK, in September 2013. The scenery
is excellent, but I found myself
concentrating more on, and enjoying,
photographing the people.
I really like Sociology and how people
interact with each other and their
environment. This was essentially my
beginnings in Street Photography.
All the shots were taken with my
Nikon D7000 and 2 lenses, both
Sigma’s. A 70—200mm f2.8 and a
105mm f2.8.
Little did I know at the start of the
trip that this was the way my
photography was to go, and as a
result, the larger lenses would be
dropped in favour of the Nikon
85mm f1.8D.
I hope you enjoy viewing the
photos in this book as much as I
did taking them and putting them
together.
