to Young Ladies

“Stay away from actions, words, gestures and

outfit that smells like

lust from afar.”

“Stay away from clothing that makes a man

look at your body.”

“You are valuable.”

“Hide yourself, my child. You are

beautiful.”

“Never show your legs or any intimate part of your body to

attract the attention of men. You are precious in the sight of God. Keep it only for your husband to

see.”

“Don’t make your brother sin by the way you dress.”

“Do not show your cleavage, baby. This is what the world tells you to do. Don’t be one of them.

excessive make-up or spend too much on things to add color on your face.”

So they

can treat you,

young girls with

absolute purity…

I also want women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God. (NIV, 1 Timothy 2:9-10)
