Papier Mache

Papier Mache is believed to be as old as paper making. It is a construction material with paper and paper products along with glue as its core raw materials. Though Papier Mache is light in weight, it is sturdy. 

The art of Papier Mache is practiced globally and is used in school projects, house decoration, making art prototypes, casting and reproducing items, making props for theatres and movies and making wild life & animals & making jewellery

Meenakari -Enamelling

The enamel work done on a metal surface is known as meenakari. The word Meena stands for enamel and the work ‘kari’ is the art.

Meena (enamel) + Kari (the art) = meenakari (art of enameling) Glass and other colored stones are crushed into very fine powder and prepared for enameling.

This powder mixture is laid carefully in predefined boundaries of metal created by either soldering very fine outlines in gold or by hammering into the metal to create grooves where the color should fill in.

Sanjhi Art

Sanjhi, the art of hand cutting designs on paper, is typical art of Mathura in Uttar Pradesh, the legendary home of Lord Krishna.

Traditionally, motifs from the stories of Krishna are created in stencil and used to decorate spaces during festive seasons or are used for filling in with colors in water and on the floors of temples.

The cutting process requires enormous skill, concentration and patience, and the fine detail is achieved with specially designed scissors. Of late, striding latticework patterns of Mughal origin as well as more contemporary themes have been introduced to widen the repertoire.

CAD - Rhino

Computer-aided design (CAD), also known as computer-aided design and drafting (CADD), is the use of computer systems to assist in the creation, modification, analysis, or optimization of a design. 

Computer-aided drafting describes the process of creating a technical drawing with the use of computer software. CAD software is used to increase the productivity of the designer, improve the quality of design, improve communications through documentation, and to create a database for manufacturing. 

CAD output is often in the form of electronic files for print or machining operations

Pattachitra

Pattachitra is a traditional painting of Orissa, India. These paintings are based on Hindu Mythology and specially inspired by Jagannath and Vaishnava cult.

All colours used in the paintings are natural and paintings are made by traditional Chitrakaras or Oriya painters. Pattachitra style of painting is one of the oldest and most popular art forms of Orissa.

The name Pattachitra has evolved from the Sanskrit words patta, meaning canvas and chitra, meaning picture.

MiniaturePainting

The evolution of Indian Miniatures paintings started in the Western Himalayas, around the 17th century. These paintings were highly influenced by the mural paintings that originated during the later half of the 18th century.

Miniatures paintings are beautiful handmade paintings, which are quite colorful but small in size. The highlight of these paintings is the intricate and delicate brushwork, which lends them a unique identity.
