Exception Pricing – Resale Assortment Codes

• Assortment codes allow a user to combine items for the purpose of determining quantity break calculations for groups of itemso Example: You sell four different shaped cookie cutters individually and you want

your customer to get the higher quantity break pricing if they are purchasing these different shaped cookie cutters on the same order. If these cookie cutters are all in the same assortment code, the system will add the total quantity of all the cookie cutters they are purchasing and use the higher quantity break.

Note: XO oe_assort_price needs to be set to yes to use assortment codes.

• oe_best_price – System searches for the best possible price for that item and customer

• oe_def_price – Defaults the Price By box on the order headero Current – finds the current price for that item and customero Last – finds the last price for that item and customero Average – averages the last prices for that customer and item

• This price method is a great option for returns

o Lowest – finds the lowest price that the customer has purchased the item• This price method is a great option for returns

o Contract – finds the customer contract price for that customer and item. If no contract is found, the system looks for the last price. When there is no last price, the system places a zero price.

• oe_def_price_cu – The customer master record Return Method overrides oe_def_price option

today or before today

o <IMPP> - A simple price and import function to update list and standard cost • Import uses a CSV file

• Import users your item number, vendor’s item number, or UPC code

o <PRCUP> - Update a selection of resale prices <PRCM>• Changes the current or future <PRCM> pricing structure

• Add <PRCM> pricing if a record does not exist

• Broken Pack Pricing – BP check box to the left of Whse Codeo Quantity breaks must be setup using specific UM Levels in ascending order of

UM Level.

o System first determines the quantity break that applies in the usual fashion.

o System then takes the quantity of the order in UM 1 and divides it by the conversion factor of the quantity break UM Level.

o If there is any remainder, it resets the quantity break to use as 1.
