The main focus of our Mission
T hese are exciting days for the Church of the Nazarene in Africa. God has opened the doors
for us to enter new countries with the message of the saving gospel of Jesus Christ. The growing Church in Africa is a product of the commitment and dedication of men and women of faith who have embraced God’s call to missions. The mission to go into all nations to make disciples, rooted in a holiness and missional passion, led to the establishment of the Church in Africa beginning 1901 in Cape Verde and 1910 in Swaziland. Today the Church of the Nazarene in Africa is in 42 countries with a half a million members across the continent. We celebrate the ministry of those who have gone before us and we stand in awe of what the Lord is doing in and through His Church in this generation. Our mission remains to make Christlike disciples (Matthew 28:19-20) with
a vision to experience a biblical Wesleyan - holiness revival across Africa. We hope that all strategic and ministry tactical plans will flow naturally out of the personal and corporate Wesleyan holiness revival.
