Resumes
You will find several sample resumes on the following pages. All names, organizations, and identifying information have been changed. The actual resumes do not contain borders. A note about the resumes I write:
Recruiters review hundreds of resumes on a daily basis. They initially scan the resume for pertinent information – starting at the top. If what they are seeking is not readily conspicuous, they’ll move on to the next resume. As such, I ascribe to the “KIS” (Keep It Simple) philosophy. Rather than creating a resume replete with flashy graphics, tables, and fonts – my focus is on the text – with an emphasis on noteworthy and relevant Experiences, Skills, and Accomplishments.
Some larger organizations use Applicant Tracking Software to scan for pertinent phrases (e.g., MBA, R.N., Word Press, Salesforce, QuickBooks Pro 2013, C++, Social Media Marketing). As such, my resumes contain Key Words throughout.
Visit my website for articles I’ve written on resume writing and job search topics, and to view my own resume.

RESEARCH
Wilson, Jane (2012). A Study of the Correlation between Teacher Perception and School Achievement Label
The purpose of this quantitative research study was to discover if there is a correlation between teachers’ perception of school climate variables and students’ academic achievement. A correlational design was utilized to examine the relationship between five dependent variables: (a) school success label, (b) school climate score, (c) school socioeconomic score, (d) high expectation correlate score, and (e) safe and orderly environment score. The correlation design allowed the researcher to determine if a relationship exists among the variables, as determined by staff responses on a measure of correlates of effective schools.
