20 MAY — World Metrology DayWorld Metrology Day is the interna-tional professional holiday. Estab-lished by the International Commit-tee of weights and measures (CIPM) in October 1999. On May 20, 1875 in Paris at the Diplomatic metrological conference representatives of 17 countries, including Russia, put their signatures under the famous Metric Convention, the first intergovern-mental agreement on scientific and technical cooperation.

CelebrationOur forum is the main venue of thecelebration of the World MetrologyDay in Russia, including the partici-pation of subordinate enterprises and organizations of the Federal Agency on Technical Regulating and Metro-logy (ROSSTANDART). 10000 metrologistscelebrate the World Metrology Day in Russia.
