proper operation, regular tune ups, and consistent maintenance to

perform optimally. This workshop will provide the education, skills,

and tools you need to make improvements to your facility’s

refrigeration system. These best-practice takeaways will help you

step back, assess your systems, and identify areas of improvement.

After the class join us at Henningsen Cold Storage for a tour of their

ammonia refrigeration facility from 12:30—1:30 p.m.

• Map the components of your facility’s refrigeration system and

understand which parts are the biggest energy users

• Assess your current operation and maintenance program

• Implement best practices that will reduce your energy use and

costs

Instructor

David Moser, P.E., Cascade Energy

Dave is a senior project engineer at Cascade Energy specializing in

helping industrial facilities become more energy-efficient. For the last

24 years he’s been working with commercial and industrial

mechanical systems, including design, energy audits, and

commissioning. He regularly conducts workshops on ammonia

refrigeration systems, has led over 20 tune-ups at large refrigerated

warehouses, and is the technical lead for a large food service

distributor’s energy management program.
