At 14 it was time to say “Goodbye”!  Finally, one day, when Alexis was 14 human years old, she woke up and all her organs  seemed  to have packed  it  in. FastidNto move from the puddle were just terrible.  I had to  let her go.  Into the vet we went and the vet confirmed my worst fears, that my dar1“farewell”.  I stayed with her while they put her under and held her paw. Her soft eyes slowly closed  as  she  understood  and  shared  her  last moments with me.  The  howl  of despair  that  came  from me was as unexpected as  it was  loud.  I  shakily walked past the fuaand kind.  

Farewell Alexis, I’ll never forget you.
