From this table it is obvious that each household saves at least Rs 11,4787- per year by using the local biodiversity in Amba Valley. If one considers that money saved is actually money earned, the amount of revenue earned by people of Chavni every year is tremendous. What is needed is that all communities and members of the village, keeping the legal aspects also in mind use this valuable resource base sustainably and in an equitable manner.
