X is one of the greatest Indian physicists ever lived, but unfortunately unknown & unrecognized by most of the people. His impact on physics is really tremendous, particularly the theories in quantum optics, proposals on tachyons etc..

He was denied the Nobel at-least twice, in 1979 & 2005, where in both cases, his contributions won the prize, but the credit went to others.
