Talk about your problems: to a friend, teacher or even a pet!

Humour: laugh your troubles away! Think of a funny thought!

Use your imagination to place yourself into a calm, happy

situation.

Build your confidence! Say “ I will be fine, I will get through this!” You’ll become a stronger, more confident person from

your experiences.

Use hobbies or special interests to take your mind off of your troubles.

Use drama: imagine yourself as a superhero! What would he do to get

through this?

Have a reality check! In the scheme of things, this event isn’t really all

that bad – is it?
