DESCRIPTION

The Gospel According to John in Written American Sign Language (ASL) is a published book with over 400 pages, translated from the English Bible "The New Living Translation (NLT)" into American Sign Language by ASL interpreter Nancy Romero. Nancy, who is a skilled signwriter, wrote the ASL in the SignWriting Script using SignPuddle Online software, www.SignPuddle.org, developed by Stephen Slevinski. This beautiful book was edited by Deaf native signer Lucinda O'Grady Farnady (formerly Batch). Available free for download on ASLGospel.org, it is an historic classic. It is the first time that the Bible is available in written ASL. Before the development of SignWriting, there were videos of ASL interpretations, but they were never written as a book. Nancy Romero completed the ASL written translation of the complete 27 books of the New Testament in 2014. Visit ASLGospel.org to download the free PDFs. Published by the SignWriting Press, 2013. ISBN: 978-0-914336-47-1. Available for purchase in the SignWriting Shop: http://www.signwriting.org/shop/ASL_Bible_Gospel_According_To_John.html
