SPDC India 2012

• Spread over two days. Participation of over 150 students

• Representation from Senior section and ASME Staff

SDE India 2012

• Spread over 2 days. Participation of 28 teams.

• Held for the 1st time in District G in India.

URJA – Renewable Energy Exhibit

• An event about sharing and discussing ideas

intended to reduce the consumption of energy,

through efficient energy use.

• Held from 2nd-3rd March 2012, in NIT-J.

• Participation of 10 teams.

ASME India Internship Program

• Discussion in the 1st Executive Committee

Meeting on September, 2011.

• BITS Pilani NIT-J and IIT Roorkee have been

successfully working on the internship program.

• IIT-KGP along with ASME India Office got

internships for around 20 Students.

• 10 Students got internships in Tata Motors,

DRDO and Husk Power Systems for 2012

Summer.

• NPCIL (Nuclear Power Corporation of India

Ltd.) has MOU with NIT J. Internship offers for

ASME members across India.
