EH&S is made aware of lab status change.EH&S conducts initial closure inspection.Areas of concern are identified.Proposal is generated and funding is discussed.EH&S coordinates all aspects of the project including

sub contactors, sample analysis, materials and waste disposal.

EH&S completes closeout inspection.

Over half of the Hazmat diverted for reuse.

350 lbs of Hg debris, 200 lbs elemental mercury and 200 lbs of RCRA waste removed.

Mercury vapor surveys were conducted before, during and after project.

Lab closeout was issued.
