• Energy, power and transportation service careers is a year long course and is only one credit per year.

First Course • In the first course of Energy,

Power and transportation system , you will learn safety rules and restrictions in and out of the shop.

• You will learn the proper name of the tools and how they are used.

• You will also learn basic measurements.

• You will learn each part of the car, their function and purposes.

We will be having book work as well as hands on (shop) work.

In this course you will get prepared to work in the automotive field.

You will learn how to interact with others.

You will also learn the technologies used to provide services in a timely manner.

First Course Continued

This is also a year long class that is for sophomores, juniors, and seniors.

You are required to take Energy, Power and Transportation Systems before you can join this course.

This course is worth 2 credits.

Automotive Technology (Second Course)

In automotive technology, students gain knowledge and skills in the repair, maintenance, and diagnosis of the vehicle systems.

The focus of this course is to teach the theory of automotive vehicle systems and associated repair practices.

Automotive Technology

This course is for juniors and seniors.

You are required to take course 1 and 2 before starting this course.

This course is worth 2 to 3 credits.

Advanced Automotive Technology(Third Course)

In advanced automotive technology, students gain knowledge and skill in the repair, maintenance, and diagnosis of vehicle systems.

The focus of this course is to teach the theory of operation of automotive vehicle systems and associated repair practices.

Advanced Automotive Technology

This course is strictly for seniors.

You are required to take courses 1,2,and 3 before taking this course.

This course is worth 2 to 3 credits.

Practicum in Automotive Technology (Fourth Course)

The practicum is designed to give students supervised practical applications of knowledge and skills.

Practicum experiences can occur in a variety of locations such as internships, mentorships, independent study or laboratory setting.
