WHAT IS ROBOTICS...?

Robotics is science of designing or building an application of robots. Simply ,Robotics may be defines as “The Study of Robots”. The aim of robotics is to design an efficient robot.

WHY IS ROBOTICS NEEDED...?Robotics is needed because:-

•Speed• Can work in hazardous/dangerous temperature• Can do repetitive tasks• Can do work with accuracy

Landmines are small, usually round devices designed to injure or kill people by an

explosive blast or flying fragments. Most mines are made of plastic and contain about

the same amount of metal as the spring in a ballpoint pen making metal detectors useless.

It takes a tiny amount of pressure to detonate a landmine,

making every man, woman, child, and animal who steps on one to become the next victim.

The digital compass is a magnetic sensor module that is used for finding the relative direction of the robot . It is used to align

the robot so that it is able to able to navigate through its searching area. This sensor is very important for obstacle

avoidance navigation. It is used to figure out the amount of degrees that the robot has to turn or rotate.
