I define the sort of photographer I am by what I am not. I am not a fashion photographer or an advertising photographer or an editorial photographer. I am not portraitist or a still-lifer or an architectural photographer. I am not a documentarist or a landscape photographer nor am I an art photographer. Although I do many of those things. What I am, though, is a Bernadinist. That is someone who takes photographs in the style of Alva Bernadine.
