What collar should you choose for your bespoke shirt?
What collar will suit your body and face shape? and what collar will work with your ties and suit?
This guide will take you through the choices and styles available
Semi Cut AwayThe most popular collar we make. Perfect for most face
and body shapes and works well with or without a tie
Cut away collarSuited for the thinner face.
Tricky to wear without a tie due to the way the collar sits on the collar bone. A thinner tie works best with this shape of collar
Full cut awayNot a collar for the fuller of face. Only really worn with a
thin silk tie. Looks amazing with a very fitted suit
Classic CollarLonger collar points. A more old fashioned look but you can
never go wrong with this collar whatever your face shape
Button DownOnly ever to be worn as a casual collar and never with a
tie. Works for the large face shape too
High CollarMore of a fashion / casual collar. Can be worn with a tie for the
longer of neck but usually worn for more casual occasions.
Rounded CollarUsually worn with thin ties and for a very specific look. Has been very popular recently due to recent TV programmes
Tab fastening collarTo be worn only with a tie and acts like a collar bar, presenting
the tie knot whilst keeping the points close to the chest
Each collar can be made higher or lower depending on the customers preference. Each collar can also be made with one or two buttons and with contrasting fabric under
the collar points and inside the collar band.
