Muscles Can only Pull Together they can not push apart
Muscle Actions3 types:• Concentric- When the muscle overcomes the resistance contracts and becomes smaller
• Eccentric- When the resistance is greater than the force and the muscle gets longer
• Isometric- When the force is equal to the resistance and the muscle stays the same. (ISO=same, METRIC= length)
