• Installed two wood pellet boilers, each with 740 kW output. • The system has been in operation since December 1, 2006.• The system provides the heating requirements of the
facility for 90% of the year in winter and 100% in summer months.
• Savings from Jan 1,2008 to December 31, 2008 were 587,000 litres of fuel and $80,200.
• Greenhouse Gas reductions were 1601 tonnes from Jan –Dec 2008.
