• Write up the paperwork and hand in samples to the Internet for Ladies, Mens, Boys and Girls Coats.

• Analyze Spring size selling by label and make recommendations.

• Analyze Internet sales from Fall 2011 and Spring 2012 and make recommendations.

• Vendor/buyer relationships

• Balancing/Prioritizing work and projects for a buyer

• How to lead a committee within the Intern Project

• The process of coat samples appearing on the website

Key Activities/ Learnings

Vendor and Buyer Relationship1. Learn about their business and see it as more of a partnership

2. Know how to say no to a deal and walk away but still have a relationship

3. Speaking the truth with a vendor about business will help your relationship in the long run

4. Pick up the phone and call the vendor

• Visit stores to identify the Burlington Customer

• Design worksheets for store visit and analyze data
