Nile River

By Sami Allam

The Nile River

• Being from Egypt we take pride in the Nile river. It is the longest river in the world. Also it runs from south to north.

Nile Flooding• When the Nile floods it affects many people. First it

affects Egypt because the water destroys the crops. It also affects the middle east because if crops were destroyed then the prices of these crops increase and take a toll on all the countries Egypt trades with. Also when the Nile floods it can get onto the roads and cause horrific accidents.

How Society Changes• Because the Nile

can be so devastating when it floods the people of Egypt build dams. These dams help save the Middle East’s crops and help Egypt make money
