Habitat

Size-As big as a short adult Height- males 5.6’ upright, females 3.6’

upright Weight –males 300-500lbs Color-black or brown-gray Type of skin-red head black skin with fur Arm span up to 9.2’

Appearance

They’re food includes a variety of plants along with a few insects and worms.

They eat fruit, leaves and shoots all day along with insects

They also eat ants and termites

Eating Habits

Number of babies- one baby every 3 to 4 years

How care for- they carry their baby around with them

Protection- they stand and pound on their chest
