• TV merupakan media yang cost-effective khususnya dalam bidang information, education & entertainment.
• Menurut catatan ITU; pada tahun 2000 terdapat 1.4 milyar pesawat TV.
• Saat ini lebih dari 1.4 milyar TV set analog yang digantikan oleh digital set yang menciptakan multi billion dollar bisnis tiap tahunnya dalam bidang peralatan broadcast, elektronika, komputer dan semikonduktor.
