Product Care Association (PCA) has been a leader in Household Hazardous and Special Waste recycling since 1994.ABOUT PCA:

• Not for profit, member based industry association

• Members are the obligated “producers” under applicable regulations

• PCA develops and implements programs on behalf of members in response to regulations

• Members pay fees to fund the programs

Manitoba LightRecycle Program• May 1, 2012 - PCA’s Manitoba LightRecycle program launched as part of PCA’s

Manitoba Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) program

• The MB LightRecycle program is limited to residential-use fluorescent lamps.

• The PCA Manitoba HHW program includes many other products, such as household paint and flammable liquids, etc.

• October 1, 2012 - Expanded to Industrial, Commercial and Institutional (ICI).

• Regulation provides for mandatory recovery rates and penalties.
