To all communities-A message of hope and an opportunity to get involved in the fight against cancer by providing access to information and education. To all Survivors and those affected by cancer - Solidarity, support and care as well as a sense of belonging by honouring, empowering and giving them a platform to spread their message of hope as champions in CANSA’s programmes and projects

WE OFFER AND PROVIDE…

To all Volunteers - Education with regards to the cancer challenge and enable them to get involved and take ownership in the fight against cancer by sharing their resources and their talents in their own communities To Partners- An opportunity to achieve their goals in respect of their social responsibility thereby enhancing their image and credibility in the market through sponsorships, partnerships and publicity as partners of CANSA

operating in the country by 2010 Ask Afrika Trust Barometer • CANSA was awarded the 2009 ‘World No Tobacco Day’

Achievement award presented by World Health organization (WHO) in recognition of CANSA’s accomplishments in the fight against tobacco use• Also awarded the 2010 South African NGO Web Award

by South African NGO Network (SANGONeT)

Other awards include:CANSA West Gauteng received the Roodepoort Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ROCCI) ‘2010 Community Support Organisation’, as well as the Silver ‘Lady Rocci Community Service’ awards. CANSA’s Tough Living with Cancer (TLC) Nicus Lodge was awarded the 2010 ‘Excellence in Service Delivery Award' presented by the Steve Biko Academic Hospital
