Our “Gait Rug” provides visual cues that are easily targeted with external focus and functionally develops an awareness to consistent and rhythmic stride and much more.

A gauge to determine normal stance

Brings awareness to lateral movement

The head of the silhouette is located on the line and this becomes the objective of the patient.

Beginning from the bottom edge of the rug, the green foot provides a “ Left leg launch”

Accents the stride marks for training with external focus.

Beginning from the top edge of the rug, the orange foot provides a

“RIGHT LEG LAUNCH”

Bold, red stride marks make it easier for patients to achieve consistent, rhythmic gait with external focus.

Patients have testified that they can “feel in their bodies that they are doing it right”. This awakening is a benchmark for both patient and therapist.

Hash marks correspond with the gauge for normal stance and provide a means for the therapist to observe patients as they progressively return to normal.
