• At intake: patient is referred for retreatment of a failed implant after sinus lifting
• Status:– Situation after sinus lifting and implant placement and
prosthetic reconstruction on locators – Failure and migration of the right distal implant in the
maxillary sinus– Initial surgical and prosthetic treatment was done
before referral to our dpt– Rescue treatment performed in Genk: Removal of
failed implant, delayed zygomatic implant placement, delayed prosthetic reconstruction on overdenture bar
