CEMFIX is a liquid rubber mortar additive. It ismixed with Portland cement and sand, on site, toproduce high strength thin set mortars. Thesemortars are recommended for interior and exterioruse over concrete and masonry surfaces. CERTIFICATIONCEMFIX conforms to the requirements ofAmerican National Standard InstituteSpecification:ANSI A118.4 1976 - Latex Portland Cement Mortar.It is also meets and exceeds the water resistanceand bond strength requirements of :ANSI A136.1 - 1972 - Organic AdhesiveANSI A118.1 - 1972 - Dry Set Portland CementMortar

HOW TO USESurface Preparation : Substrate must be sound,clean, free of form oil, laitance, and curing,compounds. Remove any loose concrete and dust.Thoroughly dampen the substrate prior toapplication. Sweep off any standing water.Mixing - Mix 1 part Portland cement with 1 partsand and add CEMFIX to achieve desiredconsistency. 50 Kg. of Portland cement mixed with50 Kg. of sand will require approximately 20 litersof additive.Application - Apply mortar to the substrate usingthe proper trowel. Scrape mortar into good contactwith the substrate. Normal thickness of the mortaris approximately 3-6 mm. Do not apply morematerial than can be covered in 10-15 minutes.For large tiles and marble apply extra mortar tothe back of each piece to ensure completecoverage.Cleaning - Clean tools and the surface of thefinished work with water while mortar is fresh.

WORKING TIMEPotlife : CEMFIX will remain workable in the mixingcontainer for 4-5 hours in cool weather. In warmerconditions the pot life will be shorter.Open time - When applied with a trowel, the opentime will be approximately 30-40 minutes. Opentime will vary depending on ambient temperature.
