Actividades realizadas en el Proyecto Chacay

- Mine area ownership (1.600 Hectares).

- Geological mapping scale 1:5.000.

- Surface geochimestry, old mine labors and outcrops sampling.

- 310 geological mapping control points and over 250 rock sampled (diferents

geological units).

- Spectral analysis of 221 surface samples (Spectrum Geosoluciones laboratory).

Hidrothermal alteration zone

Características Principales

Zona de alteración hidrotermal

-Main alteration zone 2,400 meters long and

600 meters wide.

- Strong occurrence of hematite, jarosite and

gohetite on the surface, this reflects leached

zone similar to Dos Amigos, Carmen de

Andacollo, Puquios, etc.

-124 veins of quartz with limonites on

surface.

- Evidence of pyrite, arsenopyrite in veinlets

and disseminated with limonites.

-Early quartz veins similar to those found in

other copper porphyries.

-Evidences of copper oxides (malachite and

chrysocolla) on the surface.

-Evidences of Pyrite boxworks, triangular

texrtures similars ad Galen a las de galena.

-Occurrence of okeous silica (vuggy silica),

dog quartz tooth, polydirectional limonite

veinlets.

- Areas with alteration of albita that destroys

the original texture of the rock.

- Sericite quartz alteration that destroys the

texture of box rock.

-Alteration of silica that destroys the texture

of box rock.

-Tourmaline alteration in veinlets.

-Numerous structures that make up an

extensional duplex.

Hidrothermal alteration zone

-Possible presence of alunite shows an

advanced argillic event within the project.

-Old artesanal labored gold veins

- Main geochemical anomalies recognized:

Plomo ( Pb) > 40 ppm

Arsénico (Ar) > 100 ppm

Mercurio (Hg) > 5 ppm

Plata (Ag) > 2 ppm

Oro (Au) > 0,1 gr/ton

Molibdeno (Mo)> 25 ppm

Cobre (Cu)> 300 ppm
