For Faculty Searches, either the Faculty applicant or the Search Committee will send reference check requests – references should be provided by the applicant during the application process
Academic Affairs will provide new template for advertisements
Faculty Reference Preference
Selecting “Applicant” will allow the Faculty applicant to initiate the request at the time of application submission and also allow the applicant to remind references about the request.
Selecting “Search Committee” means that the Search Committee will decide which candidates they want references for and when the reference check requests will be sent.
