Mladiinfo is a project aimed at young people with no access to information about educational opportunities around the world. People from any corner of the earth can access information about education and professional development, free of charge on www.mladiinfo.com.
Mladiinfo is a promoter of informal education as a means of acquiring precious skills and competences that serve to increase one’s employability.
Mladiinfo promotes and believes in volunteering and youth activism since its successful functioning wouldn’t have been possible without the voluntary work of young and enthusiastic individuals.
What is Mladiinfo?
What is Mladiinfo?
Goals and Objectives
To raise awareness amongst young people from the region about available educational opportunities and how these can be accessed to enable them to be fully integrated in the society.
To improve young people’s key skills and encourage them to apply for different educational programs, training courses, conferences, internships, to improve their entrepreneurship, employability and provide information that helps people become more employable.
To provide the space for young people where they could prepare for the active role in the society.
Who is it for? Young people aged 16-35 with no financial means to support their
education and with no access to information about free educational opportunities
Young people that want to develop their skills and increase their employability by attending conferences, seminars and trainings
Young people seeking advice on scholarships and applications
Volunteering enthusiasts
Universities/organizations/institutions that want to spread the information about the programs and opportunities they offer
What has been achieved so far? From a webpage made originally to help people from the region, it has grown
into a global service for educational information. Today, after only 3 years of existence, there are more than 800,000 annual visitors on Mladiinfo.
The trainings and conferences organized by Mladiinfo have helped over 300 young people gain insight into various topics, boost their motivation for active participation in society and improve their skills, thus increasing their employability.
Through the voluntary service that Mladiinfo is a part of, volunteers from Macedonia have been sent to various countries over Europe and volunteers from Europe come to work in Mladiinfo
Recently, a network of Mladiinfo enthusiasts that go by the name of “Mladiinfo Country Representatives” was established in 7 European countries
Branch offices of Mladiinfo have been open in Slovakia, Montenegro, Slovenia and The Czech Republic
Feedback The 3000 daily visitors and their comments speak for people’s
engagement and interest in Mladiinfo’s work
More than 100 comments per month are made on the Mladiinfo profiles on the social networking pages
Mladiinfo’s inbox is full of mails expressing gratitude from people that have received a scholarship, internship or volunteering position thanks to an information published on Mladiinfo
The events of Mladiinfo are meeting points for networking and creating new projects
The info sessions that Mladiinfo organizes are regularly visited by eager young people
Innovative aspects
The main difference between Mladiifno and other portals on information about education is that Mladiinfo focuses on spreading the word on information about free education
“Share because you care” is the driving force behind Mladiinfo that inspires others, particularly those that have benefited from our services, to share their positive experience with other young people as well.
Mladiinfo does not operate only on the internet. It is active in the public life, it organizes conferences, trainings and encourages young people to take active part in the forming of society.
Transferability
Mladiinfo is replicated in Slovakia, Slovenia, Montenegro and The Czech Republic where young people are fully engaged in working on Mladiinfo issues.
Another less official means of spreading our information and ideas are the recently activated Country representatives. Since September 2011 Mladiinfo has a representative in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Estonia, Hungry, Lithuania and Romania.
We will continue to spread the network, thus spreading the
motto “Share because you care”.
