Presentations/PapersGroup Presentation Students will work in small groups to present a description and analysis of an
actual communication scenario from a group member’s professional experience. Group members will share recommendations for the organization’s next steps based on course discussions. Sufficient time to prepare for the presentation will be given during two class periods. (Students are expected to work together on campus to complete the project so they are able to compare the experience to the online group discussions at the end of the course.) Each group will be required to submit support materials for their presentation (PowerPoint, Prezi, handouts, etc.) as well as facilitate a question and answer session with the instructor and other students.
Group Communication Reflection Paper After each student completes the group project and residential session on the
topic of group communication, the will submit a reflection paper discussing what they learned from their reading, class discussions, observing other group interactions and their own experiences as an integral part of a group. The paper must be between 2,000-3,000 words and should contain specific examples supporting reflections.
