Design Work

The following two pages are initial work I did in my first year of university. It includes a moodboard of All Saints and observational drawings of vintage bags, which were displayed in the Shipley Art Gallery.

Trend Packages

The aim of this project was to create two trend pack-ages, inspired by research from contemporary world issues. The first trend entitled ‘Globalised Storm’, is inspired by extreme meteorological events. The sec-ond trend entitled ‘BrainWear’, was inspired by the idea of hectic lifestyles and the idea of being con-stantly bombarded with things to do.

Industrial Heritage

This is an ongoing project which I am currently completing, based around the explorarion of my local heritage. The focus of my research is the coal mining industry of the North East of England. The outcome of this research will be working drawings of design developments which have been inspired by my research.
