New in 2018-19: Seminar• Seminar meets every Wednesday from 10:08 a.m. to 10:48 a.m.

• Students are able to transfer to one of their teachers to receive additional academic assistance or explore enrichment opportunities, with a focus on re-teaching, re-learning, or re-taking any missed tests or quizzes.

• This is a built in part of the week in which students are able to take ownership of their learning.

• Students have THE SAME SEMINAR TEACHER for all four years of high school.

TESTING OUT PROCEDURES

• Forms must be filled out by May 1

• $10 non-refundable deposit

• 76% or better = credit

• Fill out the form online.

• New Hudsonville students need to turn this in with their enrollment packet as soon as possible.

REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

• Registration is open Feb 26-Mar 11

• Student logs into PowerSchool.

• Click on Class Registration on the left

• You will see a registration page that looks like this.

• Use the pencil icon to the right to see a list of classes to pick from.

• Use the numbers to page through classes.

• Credits listed after each course. Add them up at the bottom.

• 4 Alternates

• Won’t submit if done wrong

• Correct = list of courses

• 1 hour to submit

IMPORTANT REMINDERS• Pick “Choir” or

“Orchestra” once. Leave 2 spots blank.

• Band students pick Concert Band F or Marching Band. Then, select “Band W/S” once and leave 1 spot blank.

RESOURCE• Resource is a class you can select, but

please only select resource if you are in it in middle school. You would select it 3 times.

• Double check graduation requirements.

• Use the Course Offering Guide for:

• Number of trimesters for each class

• Grade levels for certain classes

• Prerequisites

For NCAA Div. 1 and II you need to register after your junior year at eligibilitycenter.org. Also, check out the new NCAA website

For NAIA colleges, you’ll need to register at playnaia.org after your junior year.
