Independent inquiry to be led by the RSA offering analysis, insight and advice to SCC

Three themes

1.Reviewing the current support and challenge to schools/colleges/ training providers and the opportunities for collaboration and sharing effective practice

2.Engaging employers in defining the capability gaps of students and involving employers and Early Years settings/schools/colleges/training providers together to develop a Suffolk learning offer

3.How do we build Suffolk as a learning county with high expectations and the potential to realise economic opportunities

• How can Suffolk ensure the appropriate balance of support and challenge to schools and colleges?

• How can Suffolk ensure effective collaborations between schools are developed to raise attainment and share effective practice?

• How can Suffolk employers define the capabilities beyond literacy and maths they need for the workplace?

• How can Suffolk CC employers and schools/colleges work together to develop the Suffolk learning offer that will address the attainment, capabilities and skills issues?
