Finding your niche and writing your speech Rather than view the world as your oyster, you should focus on a niche within a market or industry. That way, you can hone in on a particular set of customers' wants and needs rather than create a generalized product that's aimed at everyone but, in fact, appeals to no one. Examples: Hi, I’m Trudy Inman I am a business coach for a national company that helps cosmetology schools produce more hireable, financially responsible graduates, by teaching them the business side of the industry.   OR Hi, I’m Trudy Inman I am a licensed Esthetician and I am the owner of an acne treatment center. I help people of all ages learn to care for their skin, clearing it up and building self esteem in the process.
