Capturing the MN night life?

MG Marching Band anyone?

Minnesota Attacked by Mosquitos?

Anytime USA…or Minnesota

Anyone live by a MN watertower?

Any hunters out there? Huge MN past-time and piece of culture.

Yes…Even this could represent MN. But how?

You could even paint a parody

Rene Magritte

How could you combine these two pictures to represent a parody about MN?

A parody is when you use a previous artists work and change aspects of it to give the visual new meaning in a humorous way.

So where do you go from here?

Sketchbook Plan Manders needs to see a plan with

thumbnail sketches of compositional layouts. (pssst….hey you…yeah, over here..……an openly cropped composition will always look more dynamic than that of a closed composition, so consider running your objects in the picture off the edge of the picture plane).

Reference Image documentation▪ You should have reference images

documented in your sketchbook as well.
