• Serves as anchor station for other deployable terminals in operation. For redundancy in case of failure of the main station.

• Required for high capacity satellite links to provide communications to the operations area and all the operating units.

• Tactical links for Command and Control.

• Provides connectivity to other organisms (civil, emergency), granting access to mobile networks (voice and data).

COMMS-ON-THE-MOVE

INSTER Tecnología y Comunicaciones, S.A.U. | CPS Group 6

Required in conditions where communications in mobility are essential.

Why are communications in mobility so important?

MILITARY

• If under attack, the unit can not lose communications while in movement• Need for low profile:

• Turrets need to turn 360 degrees – interference with communications• Discretion – Communications are first target of enemy

EMERGENCY UNITS

• If there is a disaster, the unit has to move quickly to the area and does not have time to stop, connect to the satellite and download the information (maps, threats, real time data).

• Quick response!• Need for real time videoconference in movement

KEY FEATURES:

Low profile

Reliability and endurance

High efficiency

Dual band terminals for higher versatilityand extended coverage to global operationareas

Integration of both antennas under theradome, simple band switching (problemsin-field when having to switch componentsmanually).

Inster produces X/Ka and Ku/Ka band terminals with both bands and all components integrated

under the radome.
