GREEKS

Most of the Greek people live in İstanbul. They live especially in Beyoğlu, Galata, Nişantaşı and Prince Islands.

POPULATION

• The number of Greeks is about 4000 in Turkey.

• The number of Greeks emigrated from Turkey toabroad is approximately 60000.

• The Greek population in Turkey is graduallydecreasing because of emigration to abroad.

There are 259 Erasmus students from Spain in Turkey.

POLAND

Turkey and Poland always lived in a peace throughout the history.

This year,the 600th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Turkey and Poland will be celebrated.

Trade,investment,transportation and tourism are important for our economic relations.

There are 566 Erasmus students from Poland in Turkey.

HUNGARY

• These two countries have a mutual history and so

they always see each other as a friend country.

• There is ‘Hungarian Professorship’ in Ankara University in Turkey.

was signed on 17th September,1930.

The most important project between Turkey and Lithuania is the ‘Viking Project’It aims

commercial and economical collaboration.

There are 234 Erasmus students from Lithuania in Turkey.
