IPSF Overview

• Founded in 1996

• IPSF is not IUSD. We are a private non-profit 501(c)(3)

• Led by a professional staff

• Directed by volunteer Board of Trustees

• Donated $80 million to IUSD in donations and program support since 1996

• Funding supports every school – creating equity between schools

PROVIDING PROGRAMS

• Scholarships

IPSF provides access to affordable, quality programs for

over 20,000 students each year to enrich and expand

learning opportunities beyond the classroom.

On campus, right after school for students in grades K - 8

2018-2019 RECAP• 7,600 Enrollments

• Programs at 26 Elementary and 3 Middle Schools

• 700 classes

• Provided 192 need-based scholarships

2018-2019 HIGHLIGHTS

• VEX Robotics team at Jeffrey Trail advanced to

State Tournament

• 7 full school musicals

• 3 Running Clubs

• 3 full-year Journalism classes where students

produced the school yearbook

• Speech and Debate Tournament between ACE

students representing four schools

• Camps for year-round students during Fall and Spring Break

• Additional schools participating in IPSF Speech and Debate Tournaments

• Creating more Musical opportunities

• Esports for elementary students

• 10,412 Enrollments

• 18 Sites

• Taught by IUSD staff and

approved vendors

scholarships

2020 SUMMER FACTS

• Offered on IUSD school campuses, providing a familiar place for students to have fun and feel safe

• K-8 Session A: June 11-30

• K-8 Session B: July 7-24

• 9-12 Session: June 9-July 21– Beacon Park Brywood Eastwood

– Cypress Village Oak Creek Cadence Park (A only)

– Lakeside Rancho Irvine High

• One Week Specialty Camps

• Purpose to inspire and empower students to make a difference in the world

• Student-driven projects

• Service projects and field trips to the Farm + Food Lab, Irvine Animal Shelter, and other local organizations

• K-8 Academy Program – Cadence Park • Providing the ultimate well-rounded camp adventure

where students rotate through various academic and fun enrichment classes each day

PARTNERS

• Camp Galileo• Six weeks, one week

camps for grades PreK-8

• Young Americans Performing Arts Camp• Two, one week camps for

grades 3-12

ACCOMODATIONS• IPSF goal = students having fun and being safe

• We do not work with IEP or 504 goals

• We do work collaboratively with parents to find reasonable accommodations for students based on ADA

• Please include special needs information on student profile in IPSF database. If you don’t share the need, we can’t collaborate on accommodations
