Vacuum, dust, or help around the house.
Visit a homebound person.
Shop for a disabled person.
Provide a ride to a medical appointmentor grocery store.
Our Purpose......to provide, through a volunteer network,support, and assistance to help theelderly, disabled, and homeboundmaintain independence in the communityand in their home environments.
The services that the Caregiver volunteersprovide are at NO charge to our clients.Our services are made possible throughindividual donations, foundation support,and the towns served by Caregivers.Community Caregivers is also aparticipating United Way agency.Initial funding support came from the Alexander Eastman Foundation.
Financial Support
We Can Help......those who have difficulty maintainingindependence and quality of lifebecause they are homebound, elderly,temporarily, or permanently disabled,lonely, recuperating from illness ordealing with chronic illness.
Towns Served:
CHORES
TRANSPORTATION
For medical, dental, and othercritical appointments, dialysis,and cancer treatments.
Light housekeeping, laundry,minor repairs or occasionalhousework.
Caregivers Provides:with great support from our volunteers,
VISITING
Friendly visiting, letter writing,companionship, occasionalrespite.
ERRANDS
Occasional or regular shoppingtrips.
REFERRALS
Information and referrals toappropriate sources.

Volunteer Opportunities:
Used durable medical equipment forloan is available at no charge. Individualscan make arrangements to pick up theitem needed by calling the office.Donations are much appreciated, and taxdeduction letters can be provided for alldonations.
Office Hours from 9AM to 3PM.Evening hours available by appointment.
Anyone who has an hour a week or anhour a month to give, please stop by andcontact the Caregivers office. We can alsoaccommodate groups of almost any sizefor one time or seasonal service projects.
